Join VetCare on its path to becoming a leading acquirer and operator of animal hospitals in Canada! We are seeking a senior web designer and developer to join our dynamic, entrepreneurial team.  This role will be instrumental in developing our brands, websites, videos, and collateral.

The Opportunity:

We have a unique opportunity for a creative  Senior Web and Graphic Designer to build our brands and websites for the company to position ourselves as a leader in the Veterinary Industry across Canada. Reporting to the marketing manager, your responsibilities will include: 

• Build a house of brands, modernize existing brands & create style guides for multiple practices
• Project management - partner with freelance UX designer and WordPress developer to build 2-3 custom wordpress themes that can be used for multiple websites
• Design, launch, and manage multiple websites
• Manage the junior web & graphic designer 
• Design print collateral such as magazine ads, brochures and promotional materials
• Design digital materials including ads, emails, newsletter templates, and landing pages
• Edit promotional videos

Who You Are:

You are passionate about all things design. You know that the littlest details make the biggest impact, and how important it is to keep things simple. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, excruciatingly organized, and thrive in a team environment. 

Must haves:

• 5+ years’ experience in marketing-related design with an online portfolio of high-impact, web design and development experience
• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
• Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, and PHP
• Experience in video editing
• Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with patience and a positive attitude to iterate while collaborating with multiple stakeholders 
• Excellent self-management and organizational skills
• Proven experience with managing a high volume of projects
• A passion to stay current with design trends in mobile and web design
