 We operate 7 days a week and are looking for a team member with excellent weekend availability. We deeply value work-life balance! You won't be locked into every single Saturday and Sunday forever—scheduling adjusts based on clinic flow, and we are happy to accommodate time-off requests planned in advance so you can still enjoy your weekends.

 While this starts as a part-time weekend role, there are frequent opportunities to pick up additional weekday shifts. As our team grows, this position has the genuine potential to evolve into a permanent full-time role (which may shift your schedule away from needing to work both weekend days).

Eagle Hill Animal Hospital is a spacious facility featuring 5 exam rooms, 3 treatment tables, and a dedicated surgery suite reserved strictly for dental procedures (COHATs). Work alongside an experienced full-time RVT who has a deep passion for anesthesia, highly trained Veterinary Assistants, and compassionate, experienced Veterinary Receptionists who keep our hospital running smoothly. Because we have a dedicated front-of-house team, your primary focus will be utilizing your RVT skills, allowing you to truly focus on high-quality patient care while thriving in a fully supported environment.

Is This Role Right For You?

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.  

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program. We are looking for someone who can work weekend shifts preferably Saturdays and Sundays

Pay Range: $26.00 - $32.00/hr
